语法点 (Grammar Points)

1. Time Marker “” – Completed Actions
In the structure Verb + , is used to show that an action is completed.

文中 (In text): 
– 我和朋友一起学习中文了。- I studied Chinese with a friend.
– 我和朋友吃晚饭了。- I had dinner with a friend.

例 (Example): 
电影 。- I watched a movie.

2. 一起 – Doing Something Together
The structure + Person + 一起 + Verb is used to express doing an activity with someone.

文中 (In text): 
– 我和朋友一起学习中文了。- I studied Chinese with a friend.
– 我和朋友吃晚饭了。- I had dinner with a friend.

例 (Example): 
– 我和妈妈一起买东西。- I shop together with my mom.

3. Location + Verb + Object – Describing Where an Action Happens
The structure + Place + Verb + Object indicates where the action takes place.

文中 (In text): 
– 在饭店吃的。- Ate at a restaurant.

例 (Example): 
– 我在家看书。- I read at home.

4. Question Words – “What” and “Where”
什么 (What)
哪儿 (Where)

– 你今天做了什么?- What did you do today?
– 你们在哪儿吃的?- Where did you eat?

例 (Example): 
– 你看了什么?- What did you watch?
– 你在哪儿 工作?- Where do you work?

5. Verb + – Emphasizing Past Details
This is a shortened form of the “” structure, used to emphasize how, where, or when a past action happened. Often, the verb is followed by  to highlight the detail — even when “” is dropped in casual speech.

文中 (In text): 
– 你们在哪儿吃的?- Where did you eat?
– 在饭店吃的。 – [We] ate at a restaurant.

Full structure:
+ 在饭店 + + → 是在饭店吃的。
Common spoken form:
在饭店吃的。 (“” omitted)

例 (Example): 
– 你们 什么 时候 来的? – When did you come?
我们 昨天 来的。 – We came yesterday.
(= 我们是昨天来的。)
